I like to try to keep an eye on any news relating to back pain when I can.
I was watching TV yesterday when a news article came on to say that National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICA) has backed the use of complementary therapies for people suffering from low back pain. These involve some therapies including acupuncture, massages or exercises on the NHS.It is the first time the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence has explicitly backed the use of complementary therapies for low back pain.
Some have welcome this but it has been criticised by others.
