Hi there,
From time to time I like to bring you things that are not about back pain. Things that might warm your heart or make you laugh or just that are interesting or beautiful...
You know sometimes the world can seem a cold harsh place at times and especially if you are going through a rough time, in pain and maybe feeling down or unloved.... I do believe that our recovery can be helped by love and caring for ourselves-that we feel worthy- and the people around us, both personal friends and professionals and the compassion and love they have in their hearts.
With this in mind I wanted to share two stories of love and compassion for two family dogs who were lucky enough to find themselves a home with this very caring family.
It warms my heart to meet someone with a heart of gold and a practical, compassionate approach to life. I am talking about a woman who goes by the name of Nightbear who I met recently on Tagfoot and Squidoo. She writes with warmth and love. If I may, this quote from her page says such a lot:
"..When tragedy strikes, you adjust and figure out how to handle it" (Nightbear)
The first one is a story of a beloved and well cared for dog Isabel who becomes paralysed and the love, care and devotion shown to her by her family.
The Amazing Story Of Isabel
Then we have lovely lady Abigail. She is a dog unknowingly
purchased from a puppy mill/farm and subsequently loved
and nutured through all her problems to her golden years.
My Puppy Mill Puppy Abigail
These stories will warm your heart...
If you love dogs you will love them and even if not
-I feel/hope you will love the warmth and
compassion of this family...
Please take a few moments to invite them
into your heart.
With love and hugs
